Empower Network Releases Upgraded Platform

By Bob Kilner

The Empower Network has just recently undergone a number of changes with the launch of ENV2, the newest version of the EN blogging platform. This is certainly no major mystery to those within this distinct industry, as numerous of EN members have been clamoring about it for the past few months.

Not to much has been mentioned yet concerning the details of what ENV2 delivers concerning developments to the well-known Empower Network blogging system.

Let's cover a few of the more significant upgrades.

Empower Network members will see a totally distinct product with ENV2. The entire system has been reconstructed and the change to appearance and functions are substantial.

The chief focal point on the new system has been on easiness. And straightforward it is.

For those of you who have seen the older system you recognize that the Empower Network system, prior to now, was really just a Wordpress blog that was modified specifically to the EN program, pre-made for you so you didn't need to fool with the installation and building of it. Members logging in presently will not see it as having anything to do with Wordpress and actually it's not Wordpress any longer. For individuals who are comfortable with Wordpress didn't have any problems. For regular people though it was just a little too complicated for them to comfortably handle. I'm sure lots of folks never even got off the ground due to technical troubles.

The management and engineers at EN must have seen this because the ENV2 system has proven to be pretty easy to use and way more simple than the initial version. Indeed, in close to 5 years of blogging I haven't seen any other blogging platforms which are as user-friendly.

The administrative area has been broken into four basic purposes: Text post, video post, audio post and image post. Each category is chosen by a big image icon displayed at the top of the page. All the blogger has to do is select the one he would like to post, fill out a couple of fields and that's all.

If there is any way to help make something any easier for the ordinary person, I sure wouldn't know what how .

With the all-new version they have eliminated the "text" editor and left only the visual editor for making edits to the content of a post. It is reasonable that people who are savvy with code and who would prefer to make their post more sophisticated and add unique components such as countdown timers or contact forms inside the post body would think this to be overly restrictive, but for the average member I'm confident this is a comfort to not have to examine a lot of code that accomplishes nothing besides confuse them.

Another aspect of the new version is the Empower Network app for your phone. The entire blogging platform was designed to permit one to effortlessly blog making use of only their smart-phone. For all those who decide to purchase the Empower Network video hosting plan, they can instantly upload and post a video recorded on their cell phone with only a few clicks of your phone pad. The plan was to free up the entrepreneur in order that he may work from just about anywhere that he can use his mobile phone.

The private video hosting service and the blog are created to perform with each other to make this fast and easy. With regard to more experienced bloggers who are currently employing their own video hosting service, in contrast to free sites like YouTube or Vimeo, this would not be any kind of shock. For those newbies that were planning on just using YouTube, this may still be done most definitely, but they only have to embed the YT video URL into a new post. Even though this is still many times faster and easier than using a regular Wordpress blog, it doesn't have nearly the same gimmicky appeal as being able to record, then click a button on your phone to have a new video blog posted.

One's potential to customize will be a little reduced by the changes, as the simplicity is the focus and to simplify some functionality was necessarily diminished. One would need to decide for themselves whether this has any relevance to their business.

One of the items that has been made a lot is the inclusion of photos to your blog posts. One doesn't need to align or size their photos any longer. Just a couple clicks and the system does the rest, sizes it correctly. Text wrapping is not an issue.

One other all new aspect is the Activity Feed that EN customers now have as their default member area home page. This is similar to a social network feed which the majority of internet users are used to. This feed, however, displays portions of recent posts from other Empower Network bloggers.

Each individual can decide when creating a new blog post on whether or not to make that post public or to have it put in the Activity Feed for just certain membership levels for their customers. For example, a person can decide to make one post display to all their Basic members and some other post to present just to their Master's Course customers.

Also Empower Network has incorporated the capacity to do a one-click swipe of any of the posts you find on your Activity Feed. This is easy content curation and brings numerous possibilities for social engagement and marketing in itself.

So it has become more simple, much less to know, and undoubtedly fewer frustrations for the average Joe entering this type of activity for the first time.
